Two best friends, both passionate supernatural content creators, explore an abandoned hospital in hopes of creating the ultimate viral video by summoning spirits using a jelangkung ritual. When one friend mysteriously disappears, the player takes on the role of the other, navigating through the decaying hospital in a desperate search. As eerie supernatural events unfold, the player must solve intricate puzzles while evading malevolent ghosts that haunt every corner. As they venture deeper, they uncover the hospital’s dark secrets and the terrifying fate that may await their friend, all while being stalked by a sinister presence. The atmosphere becomes increasingly tense as the player balances solving the mystery with surviving the haunted environment.
The set is in an abandoned hospital left desolate after the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020.The hospital's eerie silence is now broken by the restless spirits of its former residents patients, nurses, and doctors—whose tragic fates are forever tied to the pandemic's chaos. These ghosts, dressed in the modern uniforms of Indonesian healthcare workers and patients, haunt the decaying halls, creating a chilling atmosphere where the player must navigate. Their presence serves as a grim reminder of the hospital's once-bustling life, now lost to the ravages of the pandemic.
The game's storytelling unfolds progressively through various layers, starting with environmental storytelling, where the abandoned hospital's eerie atmosphere, decaying surroundings, and scattered objects hint at the dark events that occurred there. Visual storytelling deepens the immersion, using unsettling imagery such as flickering lights, shadowy figures, and disturbing symbols to convey the presence of malevolent forces. As the player delves further, implicit storytelling comes into play, with cryptic clues, fragmented notes, and haunting audio cues allowing the player to piece together the hospital’s tragic past. Finally, expression storytelling is revealed through the protagonist's reactions, the unsettling behavior of the spirits, and the emotional intensity of the unfolding narrative, driving the player's connection to the story’s deeper, hidden layers.
